At UVA, we all know and love our Waspy girls. It’s rare that a track can accurately describe half the room at Coupes last night, but G-Eazy’s tune “Waspy” does not fall short of this lofty and noble goal. Give the track a listen, and you’ll understand. Off of the artists latest mixtape The Endless Summer, ”Waspy” boasts everything I’ve come to love and expect in a G-Eazy track - a great sample featuring low-fi band Tennis’ hit “Marathon”, intelligent and witty verses, and one of the smoothest flows I’ve heard in months.
