VERY RARE PREVIEW TO A$AP ROCKY’S UPCOMING TRACK TITLED “THUGGIN NOISE” PRODUCED BY SILKY JOHNSON…SWERVIN IN THAT S-CLASS MERC BURNIN BACKWOODS KEEPING IT TRILL

VERY EXCITED FOR THIS TO DROP NO HOMO

SOUND BWOY

I strongly believe G-Eazy is going blow up very soon. I’ve posted a bunch of his tracks on the Sound before, but his latest effort might be the most impressive yet. Narrating the death-throws of an intense relationship, “Marilyn” features New Orlean’s  Dominique LeJeune, whose vocals provide the perfect counterpoint to the rappers relaxed flow (word on the street is that G-Eazy saw her sing at a backyard concert and invited her into the studio). Delicate, polished, and honest, “Marilyn” shows a sophistication and maturity that sounds - to me - like an artist coming into his own. Like I said, he’s blowing up very soon.

CVille Sound signed artist, Stax Mayne, kills it on Chiddy Bang’s Mind Your Manners beat in his jam Pretty Witty.  As told by the one and only Snatch, “He’s from Pittsburgh and is mad smart and has serious flow.”

Nuff Said.

Chiddy Bangs back with a new album, Breakfast, which just dropped one week early.  I’ve kinda fallen off Chiddy Bang but with sick new songs like this I feel like an idiot.  If you like what you hear, download the whole album on iTunes and send some support Chiddy Bang’s way.

Enjoy.

Perhaps one of the most eclectic collaborations in recent months, “Bird on a Wire” is the gritty product of Action Bronson and SODMG’s Riff Raff. It’s difficult to appropriately describe Riff Raff beyond the fact that he looks like a dropout LMFAO member, so I’ll borrow the self-description he left on his Twitter page:

“BLACK BELT iN BRiNGiNG THE RiCE OUT/ GRAMMY AWARD-WiNNiNG GYNECOLOGiST/WORLDSTAR/FEMALE SWiMCOACH/WHiTE TiGER WALKER/PART TiME KiNG TUT”

You get the idea? The video serves as a big “fuck off” to the general population as Bronsalino, Raff and the crew (with cameo appearances by The Alchemist, Dirt Nasty and others) smoke fat joints and sip 40s in a fucking school zone like it’s nothing. The art of not giving a shit has been mastered here and I love it.

“Hey Bonita, glad to meet ya.” I strongly suspect Q-Tip invented swag.

Runaround Sue ft. Greg Banks

G-Eazy

Check out “Runaround Sue” from New Orleans based and Bay Area bred rapper G-Eazy’s latest mixtape. The Endless Summer is unique hip-hop album that hearkens back to the nostalgia of summer with 50s and 60s doo-wop samples. G-Eazy’s laid back flow elevates the tracks above their well picked loops - so download the entire mixtape below.
